Rivet bikes are based on the desire to create something authentic. The Rivet philosophy is derived from our racing roots - one ride and you'll understand what our bikes are about. Designed in Sydney Australia to the precise needs of the intended riding experience desired, our quality stands out in the real world applications.

Rivet builds bikes for road, time trial, MTB, commuting, touring and any other mash up that you can imagine. Rivet provides standard geometry builds and custom specific designs to suit the cyclist's needs from concept to completion. Rivet is constantly developing and refining the bike frame as we know it. We know that Rivet owners demand more from their bike and we have some unique options that accomodate those specific needs.

Standard

All Rivet bikes utilise straight gauge titanium 3AI-2.5V tubing. We utilise straight gauge tubing as opposed to a butted tube to keep the amount of deflection in the tube to a minimum and to keep the frames performance consistent and predictable.

All tubes are optimised in diameter and wall thickness to dial in the ride comfort where we want it and dial in the stiffness where we need. Our bi-axially ovalised and oversize down tube is there to increase the size weld area to the head tube and the bottom bracket to withstand the differing loads applied at either end of the bike. Rivet titanium frames are strong, resilient and durable, yet compliant enough even for the most challenging terrain.

The durability of titanium is an advantage beyond steel, aluminium and carbon. Titanium is as strong as steel, yet lighter. It is as light as aluminium, yet has more longevity. It is as comfortable (or possibly more comfortable) than carbon yet way more durable.

  • English threaded bottom bracket shell and 11/8" head tube

Rivet provides the rider with the options to individualise your machine 

from the ground up:

  • Brushed, blasted or painted finish
  • Customised decals and etched logos for the unique touch
  • 44mm sculpted head tube to utilise tapered steerer forks for added stiffness and performance
  • T47 threaded oversize bottom brackets shell for larger weld area and the ability to use lighter cranks to increase drivetrain stiffness for better efficiency and performance
  • Choice of seat post diameters to tune your ride feel and comfort (27.2mm and 31.6mm)

Rivet custom geometry is able to provide the difference to the rider looking to optimise the most out of their machine. Rivet utilises trained fit consultants for exact measurement and detail. Frames can also be built to specifications provided by you.

Electronic groupset integration and routing

Total integration of your chosen electronic groupset gives you protection from the elements with a cleaner finish. Whether it be Shimano Di2 or Campagnolo EPS, you can have the battery and wiring integrated into the frame for the cleanest aesthetic finish available. Talk to us about a funky build you have in mind.

 XTR Di2 rear with Di2 hydraulic brake road shifters? Anything is possible.

Leading componentry options

The synergy of Rivet with leading componentry brands Chris King, Enve, 3T and Deda to name a few, ensure the end product is bespoke and state of the art.

Sliding dropouts

Gives you the option to set up your bike the way you need it. Single speed, geared or an internal gear hub on the same platform. Change the dropouts completely to run through axles for even better performance for better power delivery and improved braking power over a standard quick release. With simple tools you can customise your bike to dial in the performance and feel as required.

S&S Couplers

Do you need a full size bike that packs down to the smallest footprint possible? Still want a travel bike to perform and give you the confidence to ride a few mountain passes abroad?

Rivet has designed a bike with S&S couplers that is perfect for the travelling cyclist that doesn't want to miss a ride. S&S couplers can be added into most Rivet bikes during the design and build process.
